PS Plus March 2020 UPDATE as Sony launch big PS4 game sale

It’s only been a few days since Sony launched the new PS4 free games lineup for March 2020, but there’s already something new to check out on the PlayStation Store. While not a free game to download like Shadow of the Colossus or Sonic Forces, PlayStation Plus subscribers can check out an exclusive PSN sale. The good news is that there are discounts to be found on all kinds of PS4 games, even if you don’t have a PS Plus subscription.

But if you do, Sony says that some games can be snapped up with up to 70% off until the Double Discount event ends.

The PS Plus Double Discounts promotion began on Wednesday, 4th March and is set to run until Wednesday 18th March.

So that’s plenty of time to check out the lists of PS4 games included, with the likes of Dead Cells, GTA 5, God of War and Mortal Kombat 11 confirmed.

A message from Sony explains: “PS Plus members can earn double discounts with PlayStation Store’s headline promotion this week, the aptly named *drumroll* PS Plus Double Discounts.

“PS Plus membership grants you up to 70% off a range of PS4 titles like Mortal Kombat 11, Black Desert, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition, EA Sports UFC 3 Deluxe Edition and more. Non-members can still save up to 35%.”

And this latest PS Plus sale isn’t the only new bonus fans can check out this month as part of their subscription. PlayStation Plus fans will also get the chance to take part in the Predator: Hunting Grounds trial later this month.

This will begin on March 27 on PS4 and will run until March 29th, just before Sony reveals its plans for April free games.

“We spent the last part of 2019 taking a demo around to various gaming events around the world and allowing members of the public to try it for themselves,” a message from the development team explains.

“Seeing the fun that everyone has had as both the Predator and the Fireteam has been rewarding for the dev team.

“We got a bit of feedback through that process and we believe everyone will be excited to see where the game is.

“We are looking forward to having you test the game out as we are getting closer and closer to launch.

“The Trial will allow you to play solo as the Predator, or to team up online with three others as part of a fireteam.

“Wield human and alien weaponry in this intense asymmetrical multiplayer experience – unlocking iconic gear and skins as you level up. You can even team up with friends on PC with full cross-play support through the Predator: Hunting Grounds trial.”

Ubisoft has also made it possible to test out Rainbow Six Siege this weekend for free on PS4, PC and Xbox One.

The free trial is set to run until the early morning of March 9 in Europe and will provide full access to the game and its different modes.

And for those who enjoy the experience, Ubisoft has confirmed that all progress and Operators will carry over if you decide to upgrade to the full game.
