Grand Theft Auto fans think they’ve found a big GTA 6 clue in a new trailer
It's been a busy week for Rockstar Games after they announced not one, but two big new updates coming in the next 7 days.
Firstly, Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA Online will both be adding some massive new updates next week, with Red Dead announcing the Moonshiners update and GTA expanding on the Casion update with new heist missions.
Somewhere in the middle of this, Rockstar Games released a small teaser trailer for GTA Online, or to be more specific, the new GTA Online: The Diamond Casino Heist content, which you can see below.
The content is an extension of the successful Diamond Casino & Resort DLC introduced back in July.
Now, this isn't a complete trailer, but the brief glimpse we do get suggests that Lester will be hacking the casino to set up a big heist (more on that further down).
However, some fans think the same small-clip might also include a subtle nod to Grand Theft Auto's future.
During the teaser clip, it's clear that we're meant to be seeing Lester hacking into the casino and within that clip there's a small segment where we also see a small globe revolving.
However, the globe seems to focus, or at very least dwell on, South America more so than any other geographic location.
Some fans believe this is a clue, or perhaps a very coded easter egg, related to the long-running rumours surrounding GTA 6 and the supposed 'Project Americas' leaks which suggest the game could be set across multiple cities, including somewhere in South America.
We've seen the suggestion made across social media quite widely in the past few days, but there's also a growing thread on Reddit created by the user ApplelypseNow .
It's also been suggested that the previous Doomsday Heist released over a year ago could also have been teasing the next Grand Theft Auto game, too
VX97 said: "Doomsday Heist facility computer had circle around Vice City, Cuba, and Colombia and now South America is highlighted on this new Casino Heist DLC teaser. Even the mention of Project Americas is in RDR2 files. I think it's happening, we gonna have Colombia in GTA 6!"
The thread also included some wild, but not completely proposturs suggestions that Red Dead Redemption 2's locations might also be contributing towards any tropical GTA 6 enviroments.
"Having Guarma in RDR2 was a bit suspicious too," suggested ApplelypseNow .
"Seems like a lot of effort to develop a jungle environment for such a short chapter. Possible dry run for more expansive jungle in Columbia or Central America. Sort of like how North Yankton preempted the snow environments in RDR2."

As mentioned, this fresh GTA 6 speculation comes via a big new GTA Online update coming to the game next week.
Rockstar describes this new DLC as the "biggest, most audacious, most complex criminal operation ever to hit Los Santos".
The update, named The Diamond Casino Heist is coming to GTA Online for PS4, Xbox One and PC on December 12, 2019.
Here's a bit more info on what players can expect to encounter in this fresh GTA 5 update.
"The Diamond Casino Heist is an all-new approach to Heist architecture and execution: one huge gameplay-packed operation as you work with the Cheng family to infiltrate the most secure building in all of Los Santos.
"Featuring a diverse range of opportunities for set-up and prep missions that shape your plan of attack, multiple paths of approach, constantly changing security measures and a dizzying array of choices once inside.
"Expect outcomes for you and your crew to change on the fly as you deal with each new situation, leading to more choices mid-mission.
"Even if the best-laid plans go sideways, you’ll have the opportunity to keep the mission afloat without failing by shooting your way out with your remaining team lives, all allowing the Heist to be highly replayable with new scenarios unfolding each time.
There's no trailer to showcase any of the new content just yet, but fans could see some teasers released early next week ahead of the new DLC arriving Thursday.
