Final Fantasy 16 demo release date latest – FF16 demo for PlayStation Showcase?
Final Fantasy 16 publisher Square Enix has revealed more about the game’s upcoming demo. According to Square Enix, the Final Fantasy 16 demo features around two hours of action, and progress will carry over to the full release. In terms of a release date, there’s a good chance the demo will drop during this week’s PlayStation Showcase event for upcoming PS5 and PSVR 2 games. Final Fantasy 16 has featured in multiple State of Play events, and Sony will want to make some big announcements during the presentation.
As pointed out by Push Square, Square Enix previously said the demo would drop a few weeks ahead of its June 22 launch.
With the PlayStation Showcase taking place on May 24, it may be slightly too early for the demo to release.
However, even if the demo doesn’t launch during this week’s PlayStation Showcase event, there’s a very good chance Square Enix will announce the release date.
Apparently, the demo will give players the opportunity to control lead character Clive during his younger days.
The game is described as an “epic dark fantasy” where the fate of the land and its people are decided by the “mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them”.
