Ian Smith, ESIC Commissioner, spoke on the announcement in a release: ‘’We are happy to welcome Oddin into our global anti-fraud network. It is very important for us that key esports betting provider such as Oddin becomes a member. They will help us fight match-fixing practices over the multiple jurisdictions they operate in. We look forward to having long-term cooperation with them.’’

Oddin is a Czech Republic-based B2B provider of esports odds feed, risk management and iFrame solutions. According to a release, the company focuses on delivering an ‘engaging esports experience with industry-leading uptime and number of live markets’ by leveraging advanced technologies, data science and machine learning algorithms.

Marek Suchar, Head of Partnerships at Oddin, added: “We are very happy to become a member of ESIC. Given the vast growth of the esports industry, we consider this membership of utmost importance since it will give us more trustworthiness and durability to the online gaming industry.

“We are ready to take advantage of the benefits this collaboration will bring us to all aspects, and we are absolutely looking forward to it.”

ESIC’s roster of anti-corruption supporters features a growing number of well-known esports bookmakers. This includes Cyber.Bet, Midnite, Parimatch, Betway, Rivalry, Sky Bet and Unikrn, among others.

Esports Insider says: Oddin has recently strengthened its position in the esports space through funding from a strategic investor group,  partnering with BetX to introduce a new esports solution, and expanding to the LATAM market. Becoming a member of ESIC is a statement of transparency and fair approach, therefore it’s a great next step for the company.
